Privacy Notice

This notice explains what information S2MB Data Management ("S2MB", "we", "us") collects through this website and how we use it. S2MB Data Management is the assumed business name (DBA) of Mario Fuller, registered in Texas.
This notice covers the S2MB Data Management public website (www.s2mb.com, excluding the TIMS, MET and ARTS applications). Those applications, at www.s2mb.com/tims, www.s2mb.com/met and www.s2mb.com/arts, require sign-in, work differently, and are covered by their own terms and privacy notices.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no analytics. We don't sell your information. We only receive the basic details every web server records, plus anything you choose to tell us when you email or call.
What we collect
- Server logs. When you visit, the servers that host this site automatically record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that linked you here, and the date and time.
- What you send us. If you email or call us, we receive your email address or phone number, your name if you give it, and whatever you tell us.
Please don't send passwords, health information or payment card details by email.
Why we use it
- Server logs: to run the site, keep it secure, fix problems and prevent misuse.
- Emails and calls: to answer you, talk about work you ask us about, and keep normal business records.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: we keep any logs we download for up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to look into a security problem. Our hosting provider also keeps its own server logs under its own retention policy.
- Emails and call notes: as long as we need them to answer you and for our business records, normally no more than 3 years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer or you become a client.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with companies that provide services to us, such as our website host, email provider and phone provider, which handle it on our behalf;
- when the law requires it, for example a valid subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, our visitors or the public;
- with a buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts, images and code are all served from this site, so loading a page doesn't contact other companies. Because we don't track visitors, there's nothing to opt out of. If you follow a link to another site, that site's privacy practices apply.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this site. No website or email is completely secure, so please don't email us anything highly sensitive.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (for example, in Texas or California) may give you the right to ask what personal information a business has about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Even where a law may not apply to us, you can ask us to do any of these things by emailing support@s2mb.com. We may need to confirm who you are first. We'll reply within 45 days, and if we can't do what you ask, we'll tell you why.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
